Case managers are available to help students work through:

– Struggling with a difficult life circumstance or health issue

– Thoughts of harm to self, others, or locations

– Experiencing significant loss such as the death of a family member

– Victim of harassment, stalking, interpersonal violence, or sexual assault

– A need for assistance with public benefits such as SNAP or Medicaid

Student Emergency Retention Fund

The MSU Denver Student Emergency Retention Fund is an emergency stipend for MSU Denver students who are dealing with unanticipated and/or catastrophic life events that might otherwise cause the student to stop or pause the pursuit of their educational goals.

Stipends are usually capped at $1,000. Students can fill out an application online if they meet the criteria or they can call the Student Care Center to connect with a case manager.
