Administrative Withdrawal | Students who have experienced severe, extenuating circumstances and were unable to successfully withdraw themselves from specific courses before the withdraw deadline may request an administrative withdrawal. If approved, an “AW” designation will be recorded on the student’s official academic record and no academic credit will be awarded. Students who have successfully withdrawn or who are able to withdraw before the published deadline, should not request an “AW”. For more information, please visit the university catalog.

Audit Approval | A student audits a course for informational purposes only. If space is available, students who meet MSU Denver admission requirements and are formally admitted to the University may audit a class with permission of the instructor. The cost for auditing a course that takes place on the main campus is based on applicable tuition and fees.
Persons aged 60 and older may audit courses at no cost through the Meritus Scholars Program. For more information on this program, visit the Center for Individualized Learning website. |

Diploma Replacement | Order a new copy of your diploma or certificate. |
Enrollment Verification | Request an official enrollment verification letter or to have a third-party verification form completed.

Fresh Start | Apply for certain semesters to be removed from GPA and academic credit. A Fresh Start will not change Financial Aid satisfactory academic progress evaluation.

Late Application for Graduation (Current Students)

This form will only be open after the end of the current semester and is only to be used by those who missed applying for graduation this term.
All students must formally Apply For Graduation online through their Student Hub for each degree and/or certificate. Students will be notified if their late application has been accepted via email. |
Letter of Non-Attendance **You are required to create an account or log in with Dynamic Forms before accessing** | Request a letter confirming you never attended MSU Denver.
Letters confirming non-attendance are for individuals who NEVER attended MSU Denver. For students who attended previously, but are not currently enrolled who need proof of their records, follow the steps to order an official transcript through Parchment. Pass/Fail Grading Option | Request a Pass/Fail option for a course, as opposed to normal grading options of A, B, C, D, F. This is restricted to general elective classes only. |
Proxy Management (FERPA Release) | Authorize the release of your education records to a third party.

The Office of the Registrar is no longer collecting Walk Only requests for Commencement.
Any student who wants to participate in a Commencement ceremony must Apply for Graduation for that semester through your Student Hub. **Summer graduates-you will automatically be invited to participate in the Fall Commencement ceremony and you do not need to contact us to participate in the Fall ceremony. If your degree has already been awarded and you now want to participate in commencement ceremony please contact the Degree Evaluation Team at [email protected]
MSU Denver has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide official Enrollment Certificates. The Enrollment Certificate provided by the National Student Clearinghouse is official and does not require an additional signature or seal from MSU Denver. The verification can be used for proof of enrollment for employers, military, insurance companies, housing, scholarships, and credit card companies. The official document includes:

Loan deferment: Verifications for purposes of loan deferment are handled by lenders using online access to the Clearinghouse. Refer lenders with questions to [email protected]
If you are not currently enrolled and need to verify previous semesters, you can follow the steps to order a transcript through Parchment or contact the National Student Clearinghouse.
Enrollment Verifications for the current semester will be available during the second or third week of classes.
