Eric P. James

Dr. Eric P. James comes to MSU Denver by way of Texas A&M University where he received his Ph.D. in Communication. He is originally from Santa Fe, NM, having attended the University of New Mexico for his bachelors, double majoring in Communication and Spanish. He earned his M.A. from the University of North Texas. His research interest in organizational culture stems from his experience working for several large organizations including America Online, eBay, and Fastenal. Currently, he studies Organizational Communication and Wellness. He is particularly interested in how work shapes worker identity. His most recent research interests look at the wellness and fitness discourse in the workplace.
