About This Program

Our History Majors are changemakers

Actively Seeking Changemakers to explore the past for a better future.

History’s biggest lesson is not simply dates and facts, but how do we interpret what we’ve learned and apply those lessons for today. In our program you will learn to think critically, argue convincingly, write effectively so you can make the change you envision.

At Metropolitan State University of Denver, you will earn a history degree that gives you tremendous freedom to pick your own path, developing expertise in areas such as Colorado History, Latin-American History, African-American history, Women’s History, European History and more. You will also have access to internships, unique study abroad experiences and opportunities to present your senior seminar project.
