Date/Date Range: Nov 26, 2024 until further notice
Location: Plaza Building
Description: Plaza Building is closed until further notice due to a water main break. Water has been shut off to the entire building and it is closed to the public.
Students, employees, Health Center patients and others who use the building should prepare for an extended closure – at least through Dec. 7 and likely longer – as crews work to identify and repair a water line that runs beneath the building’s concrete floor.
Scheduled classes in the Plaza Building will be moved online or relocated to other locations. Impacted students and faculty members will receive details via email and this updates page.
Faculty and staff members will be allowed to temporarily enter the building via badge access on Monday, Dec. 2 to retrieve belongings, but extended time in the building will not be permitted.
Th Health Center at Auraria will be providing telehealth appointments, which will be limited to conditions that are appropriate for remote evaluation. Other appointments will be rescheduled or referred to other providers. Please call 303-615-9999 for more information related to appointments or services.

HVAC Repairs will be rescheduled:
Date/Date Range: October 25-26, 2024
Location: JSSB
Description: Vendor will no longer be back to complete repairs this coming Friday and Saturday to the JSSB HVAC system.
Remedy/Solution: This HVAC repair has been cancelled and will be rescheduled at a later date.

From a cell phone, dial 303-556-5000 for Auraria Police Emergency Dispatch. Dialing 911 from a cell phone will call Denver Police Dispatch, which may cause a delayed response.
From a campus phone, dial 911 for Auraria Police. This includes landline phones located in offices, classrooms and lounges.
Text-a-Tip: 720-593-TIPS (8477). This is a way to discreetly report suspicious activity to Auraria Police. Text-a-Tip is also a way for those with hearing or speech loss to reach the ACPD by phone. Photos may be included with text messages.
