Office of Education Solutions Program Fund

Ed Solutions provides innovative support to the preK-12 education community.  Ed Solutions works with schools and educational agencies in addressing and seeking solutions in teaching, curriculum, equity, and other persistent problems in preK-12 educational settings in the community, nation, and world.


 

Roadrunner Diversity Scholars Program Fund

The Roadrunner Diversity Scholars Program is an academic enrichment program designed to support the recruitment and retention of underrepresented, Pell-eligible, and first-generation undergraduate students in MSU Denver’s School of Education. The program will support student scholars in their pursuit of academic and professional goals. The program offers connection and support through organized social and cultural activities, networking, faculty mentorship, and intentional and consistent advising for academic and professional development.


 

Trauma-Informed Practices Fund

MSU Denver Office of Education Solutions (Ed Solutions), Resilient Futures, and the National Mental Health Innovation Center (NMHIC) are working together to build the capacity of teacher candidates to develop resiliency and understand and address trauma triggers in school environments with pre-school and school-aged children; and secondary trauma in themselves and their coworkers. Both in-service and pre-service teachers will be better prepared to address their own needs and the needs of the children and families they serve.


 

Inclusive Higher Education Solutions

Inclusive Higher Education Solutions provides support for neurodiverse learners with Learning Disabilities, and/or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), students on the Autism Spectrum, students with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), and students who have a history of learning differences. Inclusive Higher Education Solutions provides a comprehensive strategic vision founded on evidence-based practices in learning support services that help students learn, persevere, and succeed as members of the MSU Denver community with a focus on the learner’s transition to employment and adult life.


 

Colorado STEM Ecosystem

MSU Denver is the backbone organization for the statewide Colorado STEM Ecosystem that supports eight regional Ecosystem Hubs and a range of statewide working groups. Our goal is to build a coalition to uplift existing successful STEM efforts, and jumpstart a cross-sector collaboration to bridge educational and economic needs across Colorado. The STEM Ecosystem is comprised of PreK-12 educators, STEM programming providers, small businesses, industry leaders, post-secondary institutions, government agencies, professional organizations, non-profits, donors and funders, families and communities, medical and health care professionals, and military personnel, among others. Our definition of STEM is broad, interdisciplinary, and inclusive to help communities and people thrive.


 

The Global Seal of Biliteracy

The Global Seal of Biliteracy is an international credential that conveys proficiency skills in two or more languages. It offers a competitive advantage for bilingual individuals by helping them earn scholarships, higher pay, advanced placement, increased study abroad opportunities and much more.


 

Anna Jo Garcia Haynes Endowed Fund

The Fund is established to sustain and build upon the legacy and impact of Anna Jo’s leadership and advocacy in early childhood education (ECE). The Anna Jo Garcia Haynes Endowment will create system-wide change in the state’s early childhood education ecosystem. Anna Jo deeply believes that parents and teachers are the best advocates because they are with children every day and understand their needs, potential, challenges, and promise more than anyone else.
