Welcome
Metropolitan State University of Denver’s School of Education established the Office of Education Solutions (Ed Solutions) with the goal of providing innovative support to the preK-12 education community. Ed Solutions works with schools and educational agencies in addressing and seeking solutions in teaching, curriculum, equity, and other persistent problems in preK-12 educational settings in the community, nation, and world.
Ed Solutions aims to provide support to current and future preK-12 educators via the following programs (expand each program for more information).

Inclusive Higher Education Solutions is a fee-based program at the Metropolitan State University of Denver, School of Education, Office of Education Solutions that provides support for neurodiverse learners with Learning Disabilities, and/or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), students on the Autism Spectrum, students with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), and students who have a history of learning differences. Inclusive Higher Education Solutions (IHES) provides a comprehensive strategic vision founded on evidence-based practices in learning support services that help students learn, persevere, and succeed as members of the MSU Denver community with a focus on the learner’s transition to employment and adult life.
The Global Seal of Biliteracy is a partnership with the Department of Modern Languages to bring on an international credential that conveys proficiency skills in two or more languages. It offers a competitive advantage for bilingual individuals by helping them earn scholarships, higher pay, advanced placement, increased study abroad opportunities and much more.
The Colorado STEM Ecosystem 2.0 (CO STEM) is a statewide grassroots coalition to (1) uplift existing successful efforts, and (2) jumpstart cross-sector collaboration to bridge educational and economic needs across Colorado. Our definition of STEM is broad, interdisciplinary, and inclusive.

MSU Denver’s School of Education is leading the path forward in recruiting and preparing more Black/African American and Hispanic/Latinx male teachers for the state of Colorado through its Call Me MISTER (Mentors Instructing Students Toward Effective Role Models) program. The mission of Call Me MISTER is to increase the pool of available teachers from a broader and more diverse background, primarily within the Denver metro area.

The Anna Jo Garcia Haynes Legacy Project was established to sustain and build upon the legacy and impact of Anna Jo’s leadership and advocacy in early childhood education (ECE). The Anna Jo Garcia Haynes Endowment will create system-wide change in the state’s early childhood education ecosystem. Anna Jo deeply believes that parents and teachers are the best advocates because they are with children every day and understand their needs, potential, challenges, and promise more than anyone else.

MSU Denver is one of 12 institutions nationwide to receive funding from the Hawkins grant, which aims to support potential teachers from historically under-served populations by expanding teacher-preparation programs.
