Congratulations! If you have recently married while on an F1 visa, you can apply for a change of status. For change of status requests out of an F1 status, you can contact Immigrant Services.
Yes. If your passport and I-20 are still valid, you can continue to study in the US. However, if you leave the US during your course of study, you will need to apply for a new visa.
To qualify for an F1 Visa students must have the financial resources to live and study in the United States. With that in mind, if you need to create a payment plan, you may do so through the Bursar’s Office. Please note: Failure to pay on time will result in interest, fees, and the potential of not being able to enroll in future semesters.
Holds are placed on student accounts for several reasons (such as unpaid bills or academic performance). Students with certain holds are unable to register for classes. It is important that you address these holds as soon as possible. Please see the Holds Page for more information.
